Regional Arts Fund announcement.

It has been a very busy time for team RANT but we are now able to share some exciting news with you all!

RANT Arts has just been confirmed as the new Tasmanian Regional Program Administrators for the Regional Arts Fund.

The Regional Arts Fund is an Australian Government program that supports sustainable cultural development in regional and remote communities in Australia. The program is managed by Regional Arts Australia and organisations in each state and territory. Click here to learn more about the Regional Arts Fund.
The responsibility of administering RAF combined with organisational funding from Arts Tasmania now has positioned RANT Arts as the premier regional arts organisation in the state. As an organisation focused upon the needs of Tasmanian artists and arts workers and with a mission to promote and nurture connectivity, advocacy, development, partnerships, regional sustainability, community participation and engagement – we recognise there is a great deal of work to be done.

Over the coming weeks we will be connecting with the community about our strategies for 2019, our programming and some amazing projects we have in the pipelines. We would like to thank the federal department of Communications and the Arts, Regional Arts Australia and Arts Tasmania for their support and due diligence.

RANT Arts is moving forward and 2019 is shaping up to be an amazing year. We are looking forward to supporting and nurturing the regional areas of our beautiful state.

Thanks and talk soon.

Kitty & Nathan
